Summary
My more interesting projects happen to be based on the Microchip PIC family of microcontrollers. One time a darling for hobbyists
building smaller-scale low-cost projects, they have been overshadowed by the more powerful and now also cheap ARM-based microcontrollers. However,
with some of these PIC's still sitting in my inventory, I still like to use them in newer projects as well, as there is a certain "charm" in their
simplicity and reliability.
The code for the 16[L]F84 projects is pure hand-crafted artisan assembly code; for the 18xxx chips, the code was developed in C, using the
Microchip C18 compiler.
